our coop got finished yesterday!

Good advice, thanks. I think I'll rig a differ water bowl inside the coop as I don't think they'd of got a drink out of the waterer last night anyway cos it was all clogged with bedding! And stick to bowls for food.

Ok all I've done is take a small scrap of wood left over from the coop build and drill for holes along the edge to hook the food and water bowl into then nailed it to the inside of the coop door! Works a treat, high enough that it's not full of bedding and easy to change when the door swings open. And after their second night sleeping outside in the coop and waking up happy, I think they are officially outdoor birds! Yay cos now I can clean away all the indoor cage setup and have my lounge back! :D
Also when I go to put them inside the coop at first dark , well that now my fav thing to do! Normally when I pick them up for cuddles they flap a bit and then don't stay long before jumping down again, but when they are sleepy they are so cuddly! The snuggle right up to me and make a lovely noise when stroked and actually pushing each other aside so as to get a bit of attention! Lovely :)
