Looking good! I'm also in the process of building a coop. It goes a lot slower than you'd expect.

Nice! The worst is behind you. I would hinge the whole front of the enclosed area for easy cleaning (you probably already thought of that.) Looks square and rugged good work.

Yup the whole front will be hinged And my bf went as far as putting laminate flooring in the roosting area for easier cleaning. We will be adding some windows in the roosting area too. I'm not sure if I should paint inside the nesting and roosting areas though. I'm afraid if I do that the fumes could bother the chickens, especially on a warmer day. I'm also afraid that if I don't the wood will not last as long. Any thoughts?
