The plan: Was to order ten layers. Minium order fifteen birds. A friend that already has six layers said he would take five. He is helping with us getting started. He had watery and feeder and light. We have never had chickens . So we ordered them, When they arrived there was twenty-six of them. Order said they cannot fill what we ordered so they gave us more of what they had in stock. Said it was mixed between male and females. Two have passed away so we now have twenty-four. I had already built the majority of the coop when the extra birds arrived.

I try to re-use what I can. went to my local lumber and asked them what they had for damaged wood. Got a lot of items at half price. Never paid full price for any of the wood. as for the exterior this was wood I had gotten from another guy the was going to get rid of it.
