Just wondering what you think of our cuckoo orpingtons:
The parent birds are 1/2 Uk Orpingtons coming from big Black 100% UK Orpington hens crossed with a White Orpington rooster. These are beautiful chickens. We have hatched many eggs from them and the chicks are hatching cuckoo with a white sport once in a while. Our original plan was to increase the size of the whites but every chick last year hatched out cuckoo with one Crele rooster. Now the whites are very welcome as they carry more of the UK blood. There is only Orpington blood in these chicks. When fully grown they are really nice big birds.
