The entire thing with the run is 10' x 16'. It's been a long, labor intensive process, but it's getting closer! My husband and I have been working to complete this coop and run for our girls. It's not finished, but it's close enough that they can sleep in it now.

Wish they'd stop digging out the cinder blocks though! Every time I get them leveled.......

Just lovely! And I agree with MoonShadows...if the chickens can dig under those cinderblocks that well, imagine how easily a dog, fox, coyote could. Tacking on a wire skirt will keep the chickens (an other critters) from digging.
If you took pictures along the way, I hope you put together a coop page for the coops section!!

Wow! Nice coop and run. Love the size. How many chickens do you have? Can you post some pictures of the inside?

The entire bottom of the run is covered in hardware cloth so nothing can dig in or out :)

I had planned to plant peas or something that will climb in the cinder blocks.

I'll have to go check out that coop contest. I did take some pics along the way so I'll be sure to post more later. We are not finished with the inside so for now it's just makeshift roosts and sand over the linoleum.

We have 15 chickens, four are a year old, seven are 3 months old and four are still inside at 3 weeks old.
