Our drake was abusing out pekin while she is recovering?!

The goal ratio for a drake is 1 drake for every 4-6 ducks. He will continue to do this unless and worse the only solutions are to get more adult females or put him on his own. Do not put ducks and drakes together unless it is done correctly and safely.
I'll make sure to get a fourth duck were planning on getting a few more ducks and chickens on Friday. Right now I have him in a separate area so when I do eventually put the females back he will have his own space away from them and they can finish recovering till we get the last few ducks. Ty for the tip on the ratio! I'll make sure to remember that so we can keep our girls safe in the future. :)

I would highly recommend not putting the Drake again with only two ducks. This is a bit of a pain but i understand he seems to be a pet not just a duck, while on one’s own is not good for flocks; as long as he is getting attention from human he should be okay. If you are getting more ducklings I would recommend only introducing them with the drake after they pass 4.5 months or have started laying. So in full my suggestion or advice would be to keep Drake on his own till the ducklings 4.5 months or laying and while putting the new ducks in you also add your two current females back with the Drake.
