We are only getting one egg total from 5 ducks. They are only a year old. We have 5 ducks and 2 drakes. We're in the Pacific Northwest where the air has been very poor and while it's not hot right now we were having 90 + degree days in a row. Outside of low egg production, they appear healthy - they eat only organic grains and lots of green veggies. We were giving them layer but as of the last two months we have just been giving them grower because we were afraid they were getting too much calcium. Anybody experiencing the same thing?

Sometimes this happens. Happens with my chickens around this time as well. It’s typically because rapid change in weather and molting season. Still, I would be concerned and maybe consult with a veterinarian

My ducks typically slow down in laying towards the beginning of Fall. Mine stop laying during mid fall altogether and don't start until Spring. For the first year they slowed down but continued to lay throughout the year with light. Ducks need a lot of daylight to keep producing eggs.
