Gorgeous array of colors! I'm guessing the caramel colored one is from your Marans. I have a Cuckoo as well and I'm hoping she'll give me some nice dark eggs!

Thank you all for your kind words, we do get pretty ones.

Our "sprinkled" one is laid by a an EE that is grey/golden.

She even tried to crow some early last fall.

Our maran's eggs are really pretty, our temperature gets over a 100 here in West Texas, but they seem to be doing ok. They are really talkative.

now we are waiting on our younger girls to start laying, they are about a month younger than these...
