UPDATE

I have just spoken to Em. The doctors have found the cause of her liver problems. She will be having a "small surgery" tomorrow to repair the damage. She should be home soon.

Em would have told you herself but they made her take pain meds. It seems to have short circuited her inner filter (not that it ever worked well).

Let's just hope her mood recovers along with the rest of her body. I think I've learned some new words today.
