Once it gets a little later in the morning we are going to let them out to free range a little.

We have discovered they are little gavones and will eat just about anything we give them.

They are LOVING the free ranging here - our yard hasn't been cleared in YEARS and there is LOTS of really decayed leaves under the recent layer, with LOTS of worms and bugs. Our girls are going nuts. Sapphire and Kingfish had an intimate moment while out !! Now the girls are following him around like the Kingfish he is. LOL.

Life is a good thing, huh ?? They'll be little fatties in no time...

I've been following this thread, and wanted to thank you. We just built a coop based on all the pictures you posted (with a few changes here and there), and I'm thrilled with the result. Thanks for being our inspiration
