We're trying to make our in candler. Not sure what we're looking at.
We're going to get in a darker place and try again.

When candling, the darker the better. Like darker than the back side of your eyeballs dark. But it is SO worth it!

Ok out of 20 eggs we have 4 that look viable at day 17.

From what I've read we should up the humidity tomorrow. Is that right?

Yup. When you lockdown on day 18 you need to push the humidity to 65+ for the remander of the hatch. And stop turning. Good luck.

Sounds like your eggs are due at the same time as ours (tomorrow will be Day 21). Everything looked great going into lockdown, but we still don't have and egg rocking, peeping or pipping.

Omgoodness. I just picked up an egg and the chick peeped at me and moved. Today is day 22 and it's not breaking out. What do I do???

If it's peeping and moving, everything is fine! No worries, just give them some more time.

Yes this is fine, the chick is making its way out. Best to put it back in and leave it closed for as long as you can, for the others' sake.
