We have 5 healthy chicks, 2 that are sickly. Both of those were stuck in their egg for about 24 hours and I soaked them this afternoon in warm water. They came right out, but one has an internal injury of sorts (I'll post a pic later) and the other has a deformed hip/wing. The one with the internal injury is slowly fading...the other is fighting and I just don't know what to do. I can't bring myself to put it down yet (and by "myself" I mean make my husband do it!).
None of our silkies hatched, and we have 8 more that have done nothing!!!!! Agh. I started with 32 eggs and this is all I got

scratch that--I just candled the remaining and a silkie is peeping away!!!! yay!!!!
The one in the above picture is hanging on but his deformed hip/wing are keeping him from walking. The other with the internal issues died earlier.
