Our first butchering

We butchered our first chickens today. It took us 3 hrs to do 5 birds. Three weighed 5lbs and two weighed 6 lbs. Two of them were my son's reserve Champion Meat Pen Chickens.

Well these definitely not store chickens! My 4 children and cousin can tell you many stories about today.

The Cornish are definetly worth the time and effort that you put into them.
