Thanks everyone. My son wanted to show meat pen chickens and not knowing anything about them , our Assistant Leader gave us 5 to start out with. These chicks trived and he did real well at Fair with them. I didn't realize they grew so quickly and after Fair realized they needed to go, so here they are. Yes, I guess we are we are proud of our efforts. I am a single parent and me and my kids, along with a cousin, processed these chickens on our own. I even ordered 4 more and will be repeating this process in 16 weeks. Of course, I have to thank everyone on this forum for posting their knowledge and experience as I used it in learning and was able to process my own chickens with it. Thanks.

Those birds look super clean for your first time. Nice job. Our's usually look
like they were hit by a car.
