So my DH went to the feedstore last night and bought these little babies. We were told that 7 were Rhode Island Red and 2 were Brown Leghorns and that one of the Leghorns was a male.

Cute chicks, but those 2 definitely are NOT leghorns. They are either australorps or barred rocks.

i kinda thought they weren't but that's just what the feedstore told my husband. I guess we will just find out for sure what their breed is when they get older.

Yup, feed stores aren't very reliable. At least mine isn't. Brown leghorns are, well....brown. Plus they have chipmunk stripes.
