Our first coop!!!!!!

Here it is. Our first coop. The run isn't done yet but the Buffies were getting crowded and cranky in the brooder. We are also going to add more windows Since it is so dark in there with the roof on. What do you think? It will be raised with part of the run underneath.

You coop looks really cute. How big is is and what kind of ventiilation do you have in place right now? How many adult chickens do you hope to house there?

So far only one vent but we are adding a big window and two vents. There will be 5 hens in here with a big run.

Oh and I put hardware wire over the top of the nest boxes for now for light and ventilation. That will be closed when the Windows are done and the coop moves out side
