Our first eggs!!

Our ladies laid eggs today! So exciting! We have 3 Buff Orpingtons that we got the Sunday after Mother's Day. Their coop is in the basement, and we take them out to play in the garden on nice weekend days or weekday afternoons. They are pretty friendly, and tolerate being held & petted pretty well. So today was a happy one in our house.

These are my laying girls Buff Brahmas, New Hampshire's and Buff Orpingtons. I just let them out of their run this week. They just turned 15 weeks so a few more weeks and we should have some eggs. I hope......
