Checking out the workshop. All is good, back in the brooder a couple minutes later.

Looks similar to my experience...

Ours are in a giant plastic tub in the shower with open top. I came home and went in to check on them and see one of my 2wk old buffs is standing in the sink looking at me. Guess she got enough lift to get out, get onto the toilet, and then get up into the sink. I had no idea they could fly enough that early! Needless to say we now have some hardware cloth over the top of the bin!

Sadly, I was so surprised that I got no pictures. The would have been great as the look on her face was kind of like "What! I didn't do nuthin'!"

I pulled open the 'door' of my brooder to wake my chicks this morning and my little roo flew from the top of the cave and landed on my shoulder! He was quite pleased with himself and wanted to stay there indefinitely.
