Our first ever hatch with a broody!

I have never hatched eggs under a broody before, only incubators. So this feels like a big accomplishment for us!

IMO watching a broody raise her young is the best thing about raising chickens. Enjoy. In about 6 weeks she'll act like she doesn't know them. What breed is that?

I don’t have anything to judge, but there are at least 4 chicks and they are really quiet so I think they are happy

What breed is that?

She is a Partridge Plymouth Rock. I do think they are one of my favorite varieties, and the roosters look good too.

I am so far finding it so much easier to integrate chicks with broodies... Why do you find it easier with incubated chicks?
