Our first flock! Can anyone help identify my girls?

Rooster

Pullet in the middle

You can tell roosters in your birds by their feathers, feather colour and pattern, comb growth.

In the first pic, the bird has a larger comb, is beginning to grow his saddle feathers and the patches on his wings are all trademark rooster traits.
The darker roo can be sexed much the same, although his comb isn't as large as the first. I think I can see the start of saddle feathers and he also has patchiness on his wings.

Your only pullet, an Easter Egger, is typical of what a girl looks like - even feather pattern throughout the body with no patchiness, small comb and thinner shanks. Pullets don't start to grow their combs and wattles til they are nearly laying.

Sorry this woman sold you roosters when you wanted all hens. I suggest you call her to make it right.

If you just bought those birds today, and they were sold as pullets, you need to get on the phone to the seller and bring those roosters back. K-spot is correct on the two roosters and one hen. The seller may have been inexperienced enough not to know, but if you paid for pullets you should get pullets and she should be happy to make it right for you. You wont' be pleased at all when those two males start to crow and gang up on that lone hen

If you're inexperienced, I'd advise getting pics of birds you intend to purchase and posting them here before you buy. We can usually get an answer pretty quickly as to gender, especially if we have an age of the bird. That could prevent more heartache.

x2 - absolutely agree

This is so disappointing, my daughter is going to be crushed :( As much as I don't want to believe it I know it's true as I heard one of them crow this morning. The lady I bought them from sold her ranch and is moving so I can't take them back. Hopefully I will be able to find good homes for them, they are so sweet and gentle. One of them is sitting on my 2 year old's lap right now. Oh well, lesson learned I suppose. Thank you all for your help!
