Our FIRST Hatch Day!!!

Ok ladies I have an egg that was pipped when i got up at 6am this morning. the hole has gotten a little bigger an I can see the beak but it is now 9:00pm...should I be concerned or could she just be slow?

BTW we have one hatching as I type this! There is a little red on the white part should I be concerned?

#6 just made her grand debut!!!!

The other one still has the same size pip but its beak is sticking out so I can tell that it is breathing and chirping....any ideas?
This egg is also MUCH smaller then my austrolop eggs and the beak looks very small. could it take smaller birds longer to hatch?

I would give her till tammrow morning then you can try slowly chipping a little shell away and checking to see if the membrain is moist ect

Congrats on all the babies! Sounds like your doing a great job. I cant wait to see pics and ill have my fingers crossed for you all night that #7 hatches over night.

#7 is HERE!!!!!

I can't believe my 9 year olds homemade incubator hatched 7 out of 8 eggs!!

I am one proud mom!

Just a few of them, we think we have seven fertiles, but we craked one open and it had a whit bullseye and a white ring around it!

I dont know if you can see it but there is a big brownish circle.
