BTW hope your drakes are housed away from the chicken hens. Duck anatomy is very different than that of chickens, drakes sometimes attempt to breed chicken hens and can seriously injure or kill them.

Yes, they have their own personal pen and are not let out with the chickens.

Thanks for putting that on here!!! I googled Backyard Chickens. Benjamin and I very close as we've had him since I was 5!!! He has a very strong herding instinct surprisingly enough and loves to help me herd the ducks back in their pen. He gets very jealous of the Zephir and Kephir and the chickens at times because he want the scraps and attention the get! He get enough scraps and attention as it is though!

We have 28 hens and I personally have two Jumbo Pekin drake's named Zephir and Kephir. We also have 1 Boxer, Benjamin and 7 cats!
