Hi, I’m Amy, and my husband Dave and I live in central PA. We got our first flock of 6 as chicks on April 1 and moved them to our coop with an enlarged run we built on Memorial Day weekend. We have two Black Stars, two Rhode Island Reds and two Buff Orpingtons—all named after our grandmothers and their sisters: Mary & Josephine, Francis & Becky and Betty & Gladys. We’ve just started getting 2 eggs a day consistently. They free range with us out with them in the morning and evening. They seem really healthy and pretty, and we’ve read up on the benefits of herbs, garlic, apple cider vinegar, etc. Thanks for all your expertise!
