New to Backyard chickens but loving the adventure. We have 5 Silver Laced Wyandotte's...hopefully all hen's...we will see! They just turned 9 weeks old and we are almost done with the coop. The weather is FINALLY warming here in Colorado Springs.

They look like girls to me. My SLW cockrel had a hugh comb and wattles at 9 weeks. Just rehomed him.

Those are some nice looking chicks! And I agree that they all look like pullets. SLWs make such pretty hens

I hope I'm wrong, but in that second pic? The one up front with it's back turned? Are those saddle feathers coming in?

Mostly, the pics are too small for me to really "see" and full body side shots work best. But that one looks like it has saddle and hackle feathers coming in.

You can see the saddle feathers clearer in pic #7, the bird with the whiter head.

UPDATE ON OUR BIRDS..... Just in case anyone wanted to know, they are ALL girls and heavy producers! YAY! 3 more chicks in the brooder!!!!!!!
