Our hen decided to play dead and scared me

I went out an hour ago at 5:30am to feed everyone and saw our Buff Orpington laying on her side in the coop. My first thought was that the others somehow squished her to death during the night. As soon as I set the food scoop down, which made a noise as the feed moved, she popped up and hopped out before charging towards me at full speed.

I swear this hen will be the death of me



Anyone else's hens do this?

Mine lay like this scattered across the yard. Neighbors probably think they're all dead most days
