Hello!
As the title suggests we are looking for a new home for our hen, Martha. The reason for this post is that tragically we lost three of our four hens last night in what appears to be an attack by a predator. We now have a single hen left and it doesn’t seem right to keep her alone. We think she is a Plymouth Rock. She is a sweet hen but we worry about social life. If anyone is interested please let me know.

Hi! And welcome to BYC! I'm so sorry for your losses:hugsShe is a very pretty hen, is it possible that you could get a couple friends for her?

Darn it. That must be so hard for you and Martha to go through that.

Hopefully you found the Buy Sell Trade Forum and the Arizona State Thread so you can post there. (Hopefully that's the right Tempe, I'm not sure if there are any others.)

Thanks for joining! I hope the grieving process isn't too hard on you. I'm sure you gave them all a great home, just based on the pictures of Martha. The loss of our family birds has happened to many of us and it's never easy.

Welcome to BackYard Chickens!
