HI!!
I am Josh, and my lovely wife is Amiee. We live just outside Tacoma, WA. I am in Construction, and my wife tends the flock (both literally, and figuratively as we have 5 wonderful children
)
Our flock consists of most Heritage Breeds, such as our 5 Buff Orpingtons & 8 Rhode Island Reds that we got for meat and eggs on Feb 14 as a "couple days" old from a local organic store. Great store, great staff, steep prices, but great quality).
Our other flock members are 3 Black Sex Links, 2 Plymouth Barred Rocks, & 1 "Extra". Reason I call him "Extra", is that he was in the bin with the PBRs, but the coloration was so unique I had to select it as well (usually one offs are left for last, neglected; so we are magnetically attached lol). BTW, the yellow is not a stain... It is identical on both sides. I am also going to post pics of him in the Breeds section for some opinions. We look forward to meeting many friendly people here.
