I am so excited I just had to tell! I just reserved our first goats! I have always wanted nigerians and we will be getting a set of three siblings , two wethers and a doe. They were born a week ago so we have time to get ready, but I am still in shock that the whole family agreed! Eventually we will be breeding and milking, but I wanted to start off simply to learn the basic care.
In addition, we have decided to move our current coop and turn it into the goat shed and DH suggested that we should get a bigger coop so we can have more chickens! This is in addition to starting our own broilers. It is going to be a very busy spring!
