We currently have a flock of 4 ducks (1 scovy drake, 2 scovy hens, and a scovy/pekin hen) - the pekin mix is about 1 1/2 years old and the other hens are about 6-8 months....the drake is about a year.....the muscovy's are the new additions after Coco (the pekin/scovy) lost 2 of her flockmates....so far they seem to get along well and all spend their time together except when the full bred muscovies take the the trees and leave Coco on the ground!
Anyways I noticed today that even though Coco has asserted herself the dominant female the other 2 smaller younger hens kinda ganged up on her today and were chasing her around the pond...is this normal behavior for them and is she getting picked on? Normally they all seem fine but today it was weird.....
ANyways loving how funny the muscovies are! They are such quiet ducks compared to the pekins we have had before....and they have so much personality.....
