Ok our Black Australorps are now 14 weeks old! Two of them have combs that have turned pink/red. One of them walks around with her tail feathers more erect than the others, do they all appear to be pullets?
I have leg bands on them so we can tell them apart:
Yellow - Dog
Green - Pepper
Red - Bernadette
Black - Gertrude

Yes, all girls! Gorgeous! :love

Well they're now about 19 weeks old... no eggs yet. For those of you that have BAs, when did they start laying?
Black Australorps won't start laying until 24 to 26 weeks of age. They are late to mature but this makes them healthier, at least in the egg laying department. Love Australorps! ❤
