Wonderful bird! It is so easy to get more birds. I have had to turn down some great ones, I would not be able to resist that one though!

When we have the space and time, we rarely turn birds down, I know that feeling! Of course if it's not the right bird for us, we wouldn't take it on.

Pretty is well, such a pretty bird and quite an unusual bird.

(Yes, that's her name)

She's a Red-Crested Turaco and is now housed with our Golden Pheasant.

We had a big switch around with our aviary and the birds in it and now it looks like a mini jungle!
(And sounds like one too)

I believe we are trying to get a male but it's proving difficult.

My Silkies are my main focus but when a family member of mine said he'd got her and brought her back home...well, how can you resist that face!

I know she's not a chicken but I thought people here may still like to see her!

I apologise for any late replies my notifications went crazy over the last month and things were missed by mistake!

A little update I thought I'd do here, we've got a breeding pair of Lilac Crested Rollers coming soon. Super excited to see them, such pretty birds!
