Our new chicken life by Foghorn4 in Texas

I was very hesitant when my husband brought home 4 baby chickens. I've always thought any birds were unpredictable and I was thinking what are we going to do with them. Well we found all the scrap wood and wire we could find and all the crazy bright discounted paint we could find at the hardware store and it turned out to be the best pleasure ever. I enjoy just sitting and watching them and discovering new ideas to make them happy. My husband is the best and we might not have 4 Human children but we have 4 interesting and funny chickens. What a great project he came up with for him and I so we could spend time together and add whatever we could to extend our family. We have no idea what kind of chickens they are. I keep them well fed and their favorite things are watermelon and corn on the Cobb. Still learning as we go so I'm happy to be on this site.
