Not sure what you have under the shavings but I would put a trashbag or something underneath to keep the pee and poo from soaking into the wood or else it's going to get REALLY stinky in there REALLY fast! That's why I think people use the rubbermaid totes b/c you can hose them out everycouple of days and start fresh??? They do sell HUGE totes at Target for cheap...just a thought...but maybe you've already got it covered???

Yea my first step was to tape some thick plastic inside it. Then I layed down a sheet of osb with the shiny side up to make it easy to wipe down. After that I put in the shavings so it should be good. If needed I could house a small shark in there lol. It's watertight as well.

Alright so these EE's are super flighty! I woke up to one up on top just "hangin out" waiting for me I suppose lol. Thank goodness my DW finished the netting. She ran out of one color so finished up with another and so far so good. It has been up a few hours now with no escapees. I'd like to see one of them get outta this!

Notice the dust on the rod holding everything up lol.
