OUR new coop is set up! From Roost and Root made in the USA!

I considered that. I live in a part of California where our winters are very mild.

The weather protection panels work well enough even with slightly colder climates - even though I've since dismantled my coop, I kept the panels and still use them on the parts of the coop that I've kept around, for rain protection. I think my climate is probably about as cold as I'd recommend for one of these coops.

Nice! I have this same setup but did not assemble it yet. We're waiting for the snow to melt and the ground to dry. Probably be awhile. I also got the panels and from what I read, it supposed to protect them from harsh winter. Anyway, I have hardy chickens that did well in a crappy coop in a -9 weather. They had no problem and I am sure this new coop would not be a problem protecting the chickens in the winter either.
