You can breed them together just fine, you just won't get uniform chicks. Everything will be a cross breed.

yeah adding new breeds is always a pain but it is fun sometimes my grams got a breed that looked like dorkings one year they where my fav bird

well here are some breeds that i know lay well Australorp, delware and i have heard new hampshires are good lays too.
