Conveniently needed chicken food the other day at the start of chick days. Hubby stupidly sent the kids and I yea we didn't leave with just chicken food lol. Went back again today they had cayugas was soooo tempted.

cayugas duck hens lay black eggs (their first few any way) I have one cayuga, male, and one rowen/call duck she looks like a mallard but I had both parents.
 
Ameraucana aka Easter Eggers. I've been wanting these for a while but our TSC only gets one shipment of these for chick days and its always earlier in the first week or so but always a different day and they never know. When they come in they seem to sell out within hours so I lucked out and this was the very first shipment they had gotten in.
 
I had a hard time getting turkens, and I had some last year that had babies, I kept the roos and gave away the hens, thinking I can hatch out all the turkens I want now, and the turken boys mixing with regular chickens lost the naked neck part. now I want back my hens. boo.
