Hello! This is an insulated dog house I got off of craigslist that we spent the last two weekends transforming! Still a bit of work to do, but enjoy our pics!

It was SOOOOO much fun/work! Now to be done: paint inside, put in roost, and build egg door, service door and ramp! Then onto run!

Thanks for peeking!

Thank you everyone! It was FUN but labor intensive!

The teeny windows aren't so teeny... lol one is a salesman's window demo, and its 18x36, and the other is a 24x24 i got at Home Depot! They both have screens too! Lucky chickens, they have better windows than my HOME does!

The coop is 4'x6' and is 6' tall with the stilts... the egg door will be on the shortest side, and the run comes out of the tallest side. Now, onto my craigslist find dog kennel/run!

Thanks again!

I am hoping for some insight... how far apart should the "rungs" on their ladder into the run be? And, people in cold climates, prefer linoleum floors or just well painted floors? I plan to do the DLM with pine shavings for now...

Thanks everyone!
