Our new run

We decided to build a new run to give the girls a little more room and to make it taller for me to work in. DH finished it last night. It has wire buried underground and a metal/skylite roof.

Nice job! I fully agree in keeping yourself comfortable along with the chickens- it's highly motivating to do chores when the easiness rating is high!

I reset up the old run and plan on putting the chicks due to hatch

this weekend in there when they get older. They will however have to share with my DD's rabbit. She just loves to be in there and does not want to go back in her hutch at night!
