Our one week old "Scissor Beak" chick is no longer fighting for her life.

We did manage to get her to eat a bit by trimming the tip of her beak. She did her part well but was tiny and weak. We replaced her with 4 new hatchlings from a local source. The coop is almost ready.... and starting the run fencing next. I installed an automatic door which seems to be a good choice. It is set to come on at sunrise and off at sunset. We shall see!
