Our parrot chicken

Intro to us:

• DFW based chicken parents
• 3 hens of around 7, 4 and 3 weeks old
• Learning soooo much every day
• Having a great time raising these cuties to be as friendly as possible

Bobby, the oldest has taken to perching like a parrot when taken from her brooder to the coop every day.
She still keeps the littles company at night.
So dang cute, I thought I'd share.

Are they permanently out in their coop and run now? They are more than ready to be.

She sleeps inside but spends the day outside. We have yet to completely secure the coop, have had some unwanted night time visitors. Probably ready by the weekend.

1/2" hardware cloth is what almost all of us use to keep predators out of the coops/pens/runs.
