I'm sorry, Tongue? The floor is made of palette wood and then covered in something that here in Portugal we call "platex" its sort of brown plywood but thinner.

Tongue and groove is just like you described in another reply where a part of the wood is designed to fit inside of the other I guess its an American term. on floors it allows you to literallly snap wood together to make one solid looking piece. If you add in glue in the in the groove it makes it all one solide surface. There is also materail shaped like this used for walls and ceilings And fences.
 
Just watched your video. Very nice coop. So cute! I'm trying to figure out the music. My son says it's from the movie Madagascar, but it says it's from Pirates of the Carribean. When I go on itunes, it's not Pirates from "Prototype". So...what song is it?
 
I just watched your video. That was fun! I wish we all could work that fast. lol It is a cute coop for your three chickens.
