our second egg is green!!

we are so excited. this is our second egg since we got the new girls home. not sure which EE laid it, but it is a pretty one.

I got my first green eggs this week. I am beside myself with excitement. Aren't we lucky!

We have several Aracaunas that lay green eggs and my kids love them. They fight over who gets to eat the green eggs, I know there is no taste difference, but I think it's just something for kids to fight over. I love the green eggs as well. I got a bluish colored one the other day that I haven't brought myself to use yet because it looks so nice in the basket on my counter.

I have one EE hen that lays cream eggs and three chicks in the brooder... I can't wait to see if the chicks will lay the green eggs that I want!
