
I was a little concerned about putting my fluff babies in with the big girls. They've been in the sunroom now for 2-3 wks. I would take them out and put them in a little pen so the big girls could walk around them and check them out, but it wasn't going well. My big girls wanted to taste them.

So, i talked my hubby into helping me build a tractor for the silkies, i'm betting he doesn't have a clue how he got talked into this...
It still needs hardware cloth, hinges, hooks, but i wanted to paint it first. and it doesn't have a door on it yet or a roof or nesting box. Now that piece you see sticking out, is the trap down, so that will open and the silkies will be able to get to the run.

It's all scrapes of wood, except for the 2X2s that we used, some were bought. The scrapes made this project hard, b/c they were not straight or sometimes they were not all there...you know the 2X4s were off at the ends, which made all of the measurements off.
It's difinitly a marriage tester!
