Our Blue runner Moxy has learn target training with a white stick and a clicker. She will point to a spot on the ground, follow the stick with her head/eyes, will walk to the stick, and jump up to get the stick.

Sorry about the lousy videography. I had to hold my phone, clicker, target stick, and peas with only two hands.

The tricks are all variations of target training (following a target object) and reinforced with clicker training.

More or less I did the same training you'd do for a parrot. Coincidentally, I spent more time trying to train my cockatiel than I did training Moxy. That goofy cockatiel hasn't figured out clicker training after *MONTHS*
