Our way of sexing poults.

Since we keep our Poults in a cage in the Living Room right beside the computer I'm going to try playing a Jake Gobble on the computer. That would be WONDERFUL if I could tell them apart that young....

i used a hen call today just a simple cluck and had 2 lay down and 2 stay up would it mean the same thing or would it be opposite

This is really interesting. I have a couple of gobblers and a few hens. The hens have started laying and I will have to try this on any new poults. I use my calls all the time to talk to my turkeys. My main male is named Nutt and my main hen is Honey, So as a pair we call them Nutt n Honey. LOL
