Out in the open

This evening, I took the chance with our chickens They have been outside of their pen. And were allowed to go loose in the big garden for a few hours, and they love it! just as much as I enjoy watching them enjoy the whole garden.

I have been careful not to let them out, because they were not tame when we got them. But they some when I call now, and know the sound of the box. Have spent a lot of time on them since they came to us. and it has carried fruit. So i'm not afraid they run so far away, and correct they are doing well.

Mine enjoy the moveable tractor and coop and run built like Fort Knox

I'm glad calling them and shaking the box is working for you, it always works for me. Did you have any problems with them coming back to the coop, when it got dark today?

Pretty chickens and they know this is home now . Starting early I only let them out a couple hours before dark . So they come back in on their own.

No problems they went in as they should.
So they are closed out again today from the morning.

And it's been perfect today too, they've been free all day. And go to the chicken house for the night.

So absolutely perfect and so nice they can now enjoy the whole garden.
