So the new chicks came last week and the kids are all learning about them and holding them. My neices were a little nervous about the birds pecking their fingers and I warned them that the pecks will hurt more as the birds grow and get stronger.
So the next day my neice is out showing them off to family and neighbors and announces...
"Look, all their little peckers are getting hard"
everyone is trying not to laugh till my not-to-with-it-neighbor says in confusion "I thought you said they were all girls?"
The kids just couldn't figure out why all the adults were laughing so darn hard and wouldn't tell them why...
