Out of this breed list, can you identify my chicks?

Promise to work more on this tomorrow afternoon... It's two hours past my bedtime

I haven't seen them yet but your Araucanas, which I can safely say are actually Easter Eggers, will most likely have a chipmunk stripe pattern on their backs (it's a common pattern but they aren't always chipmunky patterned) and also should have puffy cheeks which eventually become a muff and beard. Their legs should be a dark greenish brown or slate gray color. Do you have any chicks fitting most of that description? If so, post some photos of them and we can tell you for sure if they are your Easter Eggers.

Not always the case but my Sussex was the sweetest most curious chick (and still is as a hen) The easter eggers may or may not have the puffy cheeks but their feet/legs should not be yellow they are often flighty chicks.

Maybe waiting another 4 weeks or so, taking new pics and posting them might help. I know time is of the essence since you want to get replacement chicks ASAP though. Is there possibly a breeder closer by that has chicks you can buy in a few more weeks that will be similar in age to the ones you have? 3 hours drive to a hatchery when you can possibly get healthier birds of better quality closer to home might be a better option..just my 2 cents anyways.

..and I just remembered that your Dark Cornish chicks will be chipmunk pattern with yellow legs and a pea comb.

I am attempting to get on my laptop and put in our guesses next to the Chick # line. Except when I turned the laptop on, it said installing update 1 of 57. Grrr.

You should set your comp so it doesn't do automatic updates but instead tells you when there are updates available. that way you can pick and choose what to download. A lot of updates are totally unnecessary for your comp and just fill up the memory and mess up your start up.

It's a brand new laptop with Windows 8...I haven't figured any bit of it out yet lol. My husband is better at it than I am...and with housework and job-work, I don't have much time to fiddle around with it and figure it out. I thought I had it set to recommend updates but not auto-install. Must not have! :-(

OK. On Post #36, I've edited it to include the breeds of the chicks that I was taking a guess at. If I'm way out in left field, or even just a smidgen wrong, let me know. Please.
Like I posted earlier, we lost so many chicks out of this order that we are looking at another hatchery where we can go pick them up and keep them warm in the car (and get them water and food). We're just trying to figure out which ones (out of what we still have) are meats and which are layers.
I think next time I order chicks, I'm going to only get meat birds in my order, and all of the same breed if I can, just so I don't end up in this boat again.
