Until Sunday i had three chicks (2 months old). This past Sunday i went and got a one month old Barred Plymouth Rock. Obviously she is about 1/2 the size of the three i had. To make a long story short they are not really picking on her (although they will charge at her occassionally) but what is more concerning to me is that they have nothing to do with her. If they are inside she goes outside and visa versa. The new chick is scared of the three older (bigger) chicks and avoids them.
My concern is will they ever become friends and accept each other and hang out together? The three original chicks are inseperatable, and the new one is left all alone. I feel sorry for the fact that she is pretty much ignored.

Yes, it's normal. Time will tell. She may always stay more or less by herself, or she may eventually move around with the flock.

I had one chick who was the lone survivor of a hatch. She is probably 3 now and moves around with the flock as if one of them, but it was many months before she would share the (large) roost with them, and even then she stayed off to the side of the group for a long time. They're also individuals, though, so it may go quite differently for your grooup. Good luck!
