Chicks will be 4 weeks old Monday - Would it be ok to take them outside for an hour or so tomorrow, it's supposed to be 80 and sunny. They would be supervised in their chicken yard...

Chicks will be 4 weeks old Monday - Would it be ok to take them outside for an hour or so tomorrow, it's supposed to be 80 and sunny. They would be supervised in their chicken yard.

This is my first time raising chicks so I’m just winging it- but we took our 2.5 week old chicks out today in about the same conditions you are describing and they seemed to really like it. We kept a box on the ground near by so the could hide or cool off from the sun. We brought water out but none really drank. We kept them out about 45 minutes or so.

Yes you can take them out. With such high temperatures you really could move them out permanently, just like that.
